The DBTAC: Mid-Atlantic ADA Center will be conducting its training Workforce Discovery: Diversity and Disability in the Workplace, this coming May 20 & 21, 2008 in Richmond, Virginia. This is an in-depth “train-the-trainer” event, focused on disability awareness, with the employment provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) integrated throughout each of five training modules:
Co-sponsored by the Virginia Business Leadership Network (VA BLN), this training is intended for those who serve in a training capacity. It is expected that participants will conduct at least one training using the materials during the following year. Cost is $125 per person, and includes the training manual and all materials, as well as continental breakfast and lunch both days.
