On May 24, 2025, TransCen had the incredible honor of presenting to the inaugural cohort of the Inclusion, Transition, and Employment for People with Disabilities Post-Graduation Master Class at the Escola Superior de Saúde de Alcoitão in Cascais, Portugal!

This forward-thinking program brings together Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, Job Coaches, Educators, and other rehabilitation professionals to explore innovative strategies that promote inclusion, successful school-to-work transitions, and employment for individuals with disabilities, including those with mental health support needs.

We were invited to share our expertise on customized employment and the critical role of the job coach – and were met with thoughtful questions and engaging dialogue that highlighted both the unique and shared experiences of our countries.

We’re proud to continue contributing to global conversations about disability inclusion and employment – and grateful for the opportunity to learn from such a passionate and knowledgeable group of professionals. Here’s to building more inclusive futures-around the world!
