TransCen’s Association of Community Rehabilitation Educators (ACRE) Training offers an interactive learning experience that blends live sessions, on-demand coursework, and individualized mentoring. It’s designed for professionals who want to deepen their knowledge and advance their skills in competitive integrated employment and Customized Employment practices.
Participants who complete the full course and all requirements will earn the nationally recognized ACRE Basic Employment Services Certificate, with an emphasis in Customized Employment.
Course Structure & Key Details
- Hybrid Format: This course combines live (synchronous) instruction with independent, on-demand (asynchronous) learning.
- Synchronous Delivery: Virtual classes are held via Zoom. Most sessions are 6 hours, with the first and last sessions at 1 hour each. Attendance at all live sessions is required.
- Asynchronous Delivery: Independent learning takes place in TransCen’s Learning Management System and includes assignments, case studies, and knowledge checks for each module.
- Course Fee: Registration is $499, due at the time of enrollment.
