Project SEARCH is a unique opportunity for young adults with disabilities to participate in a 9-month unpaid internship program where they will immerse themselves into the workplace, learn in real-life settings and develop transferable skills. TransCen/CEO is partnering with Children’s, Froedtert, and ProHealth-Waukesha Memorial hospitals to bring Project SEARCH to the Milwaukee Metro Area. In collaboration with local school districts, DVR, and long-term support providers, Project SEARCH offers instruction focused on job preparation and soft skills in conjunction with three 10-week internship rotations in various departments of the host business.
