WorkLink clients have been volunteering at Project Open Hand, a San Francisco-based program that provides hot meals and groceries to individuals who have chronic illnesses and to seniors. Every day, Project Open Hand prepares 2,500 nutritious meals and provide 200 bags of healthy groceries to help sustain its clients as they battle serious illnesses, isolation, or the health challenges of aging.

The WorkLink volunteers have worked in various departments, including the kitchen and grocery center. Campbell’s Soup produced a promo video of Project Open Hand’s work – on a day that our volunteers were there….Our client, Anna, is smiling in the closing shot!
